These large bodkins are the perfect tool for all basketry work. They're used to make gaps in the weave to feed your rod tips through, or to open up channels to insert thicker rods into. 

These bodkins are all handmade, with an 8-inch-long, half inch wide spike, brass fitting and a walnut handle.
