Really helpful videos. I decided to make mine quite big, so it took me 4 sessions, but I am very pleased with my first basket.

I bought this for my Mom and she loved it! She lives in Utah, so the rehydrating of the willows didn't go quiet as described, but she was able to reach out and received super quick and helpful support. She enjoyed it so much she's mentioned that she would definitely do another kit, we'd definitely recommend!

I have made two of these babies - my favourite project so far and my 7th and 8th weaves with you. A friend even bought one of them for his wife!! When I stand the latest basket next to my first berry basket, I can see all the techniques I have got to grips with. A lifetime of knitting has helped, but weaving has given me a fresh wind of creativity and a new sense of achievement. Instructions are so clear and brilliant tips along the way. I would love to be able to buy just willow from you; do you do that? Also looking about for better bodkin because mines a bit short... Best Wishes and thanks, Emma xxx

I had enough willow left to make another basket too and the confidence from the first 2 to then design my own.

I absolutely loved the course. I'm a repeat customer. The tuition is so clear and well thought out. From beginning to end I enjoyed every moment. I was even able to make a smaller second basket using the spare willow. Will definitely be back for more.

I enjoyed the time spent with my mom working on this project. The basket gave us something to work through together. The tutorials were a good pace and encouraging. We had plenty of material to learn and make a few mistakes. The technical support from MyOwnTwoHands was also very patient and kind.

I loved this basket-making course! The willow and nippers included in the package made it easy to get started, and I really enjoyed learning the process step by step. There’s so much room to keep improving, which makes me even more excited to practice. Working with willow feels surprisingly natural, and I’m obsessed with its smell. I can’t wait to make more baskets!

On line video course very easy to follow and reassuring. I love my new basket and we are using it to gather produce into from our garden. Lovely to have on the kitchen work top.

This is my third wicker basket from MyOwn2Hands and I feel like I'm getting the hang of working with willow. The online tutorials are wonderful and include techniques that translate well to other baskets I'm making.

Really enjoyed making these. Was a lot easier than I was expecting. I had previously made both the bird feeder and birds nest kits. I’m hooked!!

Loved the outcome following the instructions was easy. Although I didn’t make it in situ but created an inside version - it’s too cold and too low outside.

A brilliant course with excellent, step by step video instructions that were easy to follow. I loved the process of making my basket and can't wait to make another! I love how the videos are broken down into stages and are easy to navigate. Thank you so much!

Had a blast weaving my very first basket! Definitely have some room for improvement and I’m excited to start my next kit - the fruit basket. Cannot recommend this program enough, it is easy to follow along and accomplish and it is still a great challenge.

My family joined me for a first try at willow weaving. We had SUCH a fun afternoon! The clear video made it an easy process and we were all chuffed to bits with our swallows! I’ve now bought the basket kits… 😀😀😀 Highly recommended!!

Did this little basket in stages- hoops one day, wrapping handle and adding ribs the next, then several days later, weaving. I had trouble getting reeds limber despite soaking five days at more than 95 degree temps...perhaps the willows were super dry after resting here in Arizona a few weeks with 25% relative humidity. Have done more projects since

I loved doing this basket. The tutorials are really comprehensive and well explained, each stage shown in great detail - so easy to follow. I’m very proud of the end result - not too shabby for an absolute beginner! Thank you!

Absolutely loved making the basket. Very durable and able to use as an overnight bag for a weekend away.

The written vs video instructions on soaking the reeds was contradictory and was subsequently confusing. The subsequent instructions were fairly easy to follow and I love the video that accompanied them, but there were times when I could not make sense of what was going on and so I just followed my own instinct. Finishing the top edge was difficult since things had started to dry out and it is hard to re-soak in the middle of construction😅 overall it was a good experience but a pretty intense day. I would suggest taking two days for this project, especially if it’s your first basket.

Bought the Berry basket kit to do with my daughter! Fabulous instructions, plenty of willow, took us a long afternoon, but very pleased with the results. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to try this course as I like the asymmetrical design. I thoroughly enjoyed making my basket and look forward to having time to make the second one. 😊

My basket didn't come in very well si nearly straight sides this made the track boarder abit loose. I enjoyed making my basket! Instructions are really good!

Spent the day with a friend, in the garden, weaving. It took us about 8 hours but not bad for a first attempt!

I found the course instructions clear and was able to follow the process from beginning to end. My hesitation is in describing this particular project as beginner-level. As a first-time willow weaving project, I found that maintaining the shape, tension, spacing and symmetry required more skill than I expected. I was able to complete the project, but my finished piece differed considerably from the example despite following the instruction. I think beginners may have a better experience either with a simpler introductory project first or with additional instruction specifically addressing common beginner issues such as tension, stake spacing and correcting the shape as you work.

This was a very fun project to make. I made it all in one day it took about five hours to do, but I enjoyed it very much and I look forward to making other projects.

I really enjoyed this course. The videos with Mollie are incredibly user friendly and the quality of the willow is lovely. I completed my first basket over 4 days (couple of hours a day). It meant that my willow was drying out by the time l was fitting my handles, so it wouldn't crank. Never the less, l'm super happy with the end result. And as l went for the BOGOF offer, l got another chance to create a basket with the skills l'd just learnt. That's Christmas presents sorted for a couple of friends! Highly recommend!!

Loved getting my hands stuck in, video was so informative and helped with the trickier bits when I needed to re watch bits. Mine came out slightly bigger and I had enough left to make a small tray. Since then I've had a go at larger basket. It's a bit wonky but I'm going to use it for the clothes washing. Can wait to do another.

Loved making this (not quite the shape I was aiming for) basket. Took longer than I thought. I have been berry picking with it and it held up very well. The online instructions were very good. Would highly recommend having a go.

I bought this kit for my niece and I to do together one day - feel we didn't concentrate well enough and frankly a bit disappointed with the outcome. And cannot believe anyone could do it in a few hours - it took all day. Think we need to attend an actual course with a person teaching us next time

I absolutely loved my first willow weaving project. The instructions were clear, detailed and precise and I found the whole thing really relaxing. Somewhere in the making process I began to give a 'saucer' shape to my base ( my error) , however I am still thrilled with the result which was a bespoke plant basket. I can't wait to start my next project very soon . I would definitely recommend this kit to others.

The online course was really amazing. Molly explained everything in detail and her voice was so calm. I felt that soaking the willow takes experience. I followed the instructions to soak for 4 days, and although the willow didn't snap, the thicker ends weren't bendy enough for the asymmetric part. I resoak the top bit in the bath tub in the end. Still, I am really proud of myself being able to make a beautiful basket, and would like to buy more courses to learn more about this beautiful craft.
