Videos were really clear and easy to follow. Has given me a new appreciation for how hard it would be to master! Thank you

Presents bought for my daughters - loved
Caroline A.
Really enjoyed willow weaving bird feeder, instructions very good, clear and informative, I bought two kits and my sister and I enjoyed the project together. Also, the supply of willow was generous which meant I had enough to make a waste paper bin putting my new found skills to practice. I’ve fallen in love with willow and weaving and expecting I will be doing a lot more. Thanks
Joanna B.
tbh still not quite mastered the soaking the willow first so haven't got very far. Love the customer service, love the video tutorials and love the look of the finished project from the promotional materials just haven't actually managed to make it yet.
Wouldn't want to put anyone off as it feels like a "me thing" not a product thing.
Ann C.
I really enjoyed making this, the tutorial is so in depth and easy to follow.
Sally A.
It was really hard on my hands and took longer than it should have which meant rods kept breaking. I asked for help and got an immediate response to re-soak willow for a day and it worked! The video instructions are excellent and I would highly recommend you to anyone.

A brilliant kit! My mum was visiting so I got two kits and we watched the tutorials and built them together. The tutorials were very clear and easy to follow, broken down into management sections. In total it took us 3 days to complete and we watched most of the videos twice and paused when needed. Lovely activity to enjoy with family. Eyeing up their other kits now.

Loved making the bird feeder so much that I made two!! As usual, the video was really clear and helpful. Already planning my next project!

This was bought as a present

I don't have a lot of experience with willow and it has been a few years . . .
I have had a lovely weekend in the fresh air in the garden, remembering how much I enjoy the feel and scent of the willow.
The accompanying videos are superb. Everything was beautifully paced and clearly explained and shown. What wonderful teaching!
The hardest thing will be not plunging too quickly into the next one, as my hands will need recovery time. I would encourage even those who have difficulty (I have arthritis and a muscle weakening condition) to have a try. My hands have had an excellent workout! It is also great to flex those parts of the brain needed for this whilst enjoying being lost in the making.

I enjoyed the whole process with the help of my partner's strong hands, it was a nice project for him and I to do something together as a date night in activity.
Given that we live in a first floor London flat with no garden though, we didn't have the proper space or facilities to really enjoy the experience which I feel needs to be clearer on the website that perhaps we're not a target audience to market such an activity to.
We ended up having to leave the bag of water and 5ft willow sticks on the floor of our tiny bathroom to soak because we just didn't have the outdoor space (or outdoor tap) to follow what was expected. If you live in a roomy home with a grassy area and hose then this project is for you.
Following the videos was lovely, the teacher was clear and her instructions were easy to follow, she also has a soothing voice.
When we finally managed to soak the willow in our pokey bathroom for 5 days (of which we ended up straddling the bag to brush our teeth, go to the loo or dodge to get in the shower), we sat down to create something lovely. I was unable to do it alone, my hands were not strong enough (another thing to consider before you purchase, the instructor makes it look reasonably easy because she's a professional)-- regardless of soaking, your hands WILL ache and get tired if they're not used to that kind of labour. My partner on the other hand does a lot of rock climbing and trains his hands often yet even his hands began to cramp.
Overall it was fun and informative and we are really proud of what we made, we have the bird boxes to make next and I quite fancy making a foraging basket or fruit basket too but I also think, what's best for me (until we buy a house) is attending in-person willow weaving workshops close to home to get proper hands on tuition and the space to learn a bit more.
My Own 2 Hands have come up with a brilliant idea though to encourage people to take up traditional craft as a hobby, the kit and the lessons are high quality value for your money and once you've gotten the hang of it, it's really therapeutic, making it brilliant for destressing and mental wellbeing.
I will be buying more willow making kits again from them, I can and will put up with the pokey bathroom/no garden faffing for the sake of making something lovely.
Just to add: My birdfeeder has extra sticks poking out of the top, this wasn't part of the class, it was an embellishment by me to make it look like a witches cottage.
Sian C.
Great item and such a lovely skill to learn. My partner enjoyed the process and the birds are happy with their new feeder.
Julie S.
The 3rd item I have made (after 2 bird houses) and I found it a bit more challenging. More techniques to learn and a bit more fiddly, but the clear instructions on the videos helped, and I'm really pleased how it turned out.
Melanie B.
Had so much fun doing this! I was over ambitious thinking I could do it in one go, and would recommend to others that it’s done in two parts - it was definitely a 2 day project for me. Instructional video was brilliant and easy to follow. I was so pleased with what I ended up with - it’s not perfect, it’s ‘rustic’ and ‘full of character’. It looks fab in the garden, and the blue/great tits are very busy in it…and the robin uses it as a launch pad for the fat balls. I even had enough willow to freehand a willow heart. So chuffed!!
Catherine R.
I really enjoyed making this & the video instructions were really clear .
Shelley N.
Really clear video instructions and a lot of fun to make with plenty of material should you need to redo part of it. Thoroughly enjoyed the process and delighted with the result. Have already ordered the hanging bird house to try next.
Jan R.
The video lessons were excellent. Easy to follow, pause or rewind. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a try at willow weaving.
Charlotte R.
This was my first attempt at weaving and was excited to try it out. The video instructions were great to guide you however what I didn’t realize after soaking the willow was the need to then complete the whole project pretty much right away whilst the willow was supple and soaked. There wasn’t any notification about this and I didn’t know how to manage the soaked and rapidly drying willow. I was not able to sit and complete the project in a single session and the willow dried. I tried to re-soak it and the project but this did not turn out well. I therefore failed to complete the bird feeder which was disappointing. I purchased the basket project at the same time as the bird feeder but am quite reluctant to start that as I don’t want to end up in the same situation.
Paula F.
great time building this beauty, did it over a few days, the instructions were perfect and really pleased with the results. thank you!
Marion T.
I was a complete beginner but the instructions were great! …it did take a little longer than I thought but I really enjoyed doing it! Thank you!
Victoria G.
Really loved making this, it was a lot of fun learning this new craft and I'm excited to try my next project… probably the basket
Philippa M.
This was a gift for my husband. He really enjoyed the project and we got a bird feeder out of it in the end - that actually looks like the one in the video.!
KAREN H.
Really enjoyed making the bird feeder, went wrong on the roof so had to start again - taking 4 hours to complete. Very hard on the hands but ready to move onto the next project, the Bird Box as soon as they have recovered :-)
Cindy T.
Fun to make but mine went a bit wonky on the roof! Highly recommend! Great fun.
Sarah W.
Fascinating kit Taught a lot of techniques. Might have been helpful to include the tip about pre flexing the rods before weaving - there are a lot of gaps in mine!
Diane C.
I loved the Birdfeeder, infact I have made 3!
Although being sent the wrong kits initially, we worked out that I could still use the willow. Alot of the tips were a bit too thick to use in the small spaces as they were meant for the plant support but I did persevere and got there in the end. The 3 birdfeeders came out slightly different each time. As a newbie to willow weaving I didn't think I did too bad! The man was very helpful. Very pleased with the finish
jacqueline s.
Another fabulous kit, thank you!
I’ve learnt some new techniques with this kit. Good clear instructions on the tutorial. I completed the feeder in two sections, the base in one morning and the roof the following morning. I find the action of weaving very calming and so satisfying. I’m so pleased with the end result. And the birds love it!
Paula B.
I’ve loved this journey, and can’t wait to find/start my next project. It was good to spend time using something natural to create something so beautiful
Matt H.
It was a gift for my other half and she absolutely loved it. Now hopefully the birds will.
Thanks
Helen
Bought as a gift , so far everything looks wonderful .
Ann P.
I really enjoyed making the bird feeder. A little more challenging than the other projects I've tried so far. Definitely need more practice! The training videos made by Molly are easy to follow and enjoyable to watch. Advice from the team has also been helpful.
Florence M.
Excellent instruction videos. I loved the process and learned so much! I kind of want to do another project and try to do it better next time.
Alexandra P.
Brilliant!
Loved doing it
Claire H.
Bought for my husband as a birthday / retirement gift. He loved learning a new skill and we both get great enjoyment from seeing the garden birds enjoying their new feeder / house
Julia C.
This was hard to make as it was my first go at something complex. Mine did not look like the photo as it was too loose and the willow was much thicker. I hope to have another go and do better.
Kim B.
Easy to follow instruction video
Audrey u.
Loved the kit, quickly browsed the course not started making yet, new puppy addition to the household, so very busy!
Will Leave you a picture when completed

Thank you

Brilliant set! And the video was very clear and informative, very impressed with it all!
Elaine F.
Really informative online course and I am really impressed with the end result for my first ever willow weaving !
Valerie A.
Videos excellent.
Lisa G.
Liked the fact I could keep rewinding and watching again ! With out any pressure, very good instructions
Sandy A.
The course is excellent, it could not be clearer and easier to follow. No distracting and superfluous music or chat, just calm straightforward tuition. Thanks. My willow needed extra soaking, after which I managed the weaving a little better. Bird feeder not yet hung, and might end up a squirrel feeder, but it will look beautiful.
Wendy E.
Really enjoyed making this . Instructions very good .
Hilary
Video / instruction sll great. It really helped to watch the videos in advance of starting the project. Have to admit it took slightly longer than the suggested time and j did find the willow was drying towards the end but as a first project I’m really happy and plan to make more itsms.
Liz M.
I thoroughly enjoyed making the bird feeder. The video was excellent and it was easy to work alongside the instructions. Thank you.
Lucy W.
The classes were clear and straightforward and easy to hear. There was more than enough rods supplied so I made a second one. Looks lovely in the garden but the birds have avoided it so far
Mary W.
I have not actually started it yet. Waiting for nice weather so I can do it outside where there is space.
Thanks
Mary
Liz D.
I’m still weaving the roof , it’s really starting to come together …. Not as neat as it could be but not bad as a first attempt , I will send photo when finished
Alice mary maud B.
The tutorials are excellent , so clearly demonstrated. My only problem was lack of time so spent days soaking the half finished feeder in my water butt! The result isn’t perfect but I learned a lot about the various techniques and look forward to more willow work when I can set aside a few days to turn out a neater article with properly soaked willow!
Many thanks for a worthwhile project.
Amanda F R.
Really enjoyed making this. Its not perfect but Im pleased with it and I know what went wrong. Ive just purchased another kit so I can make a better one!
Neil O.
Excellent course broken down into easy sections. This is my 3rd course and will be back for more
nick c.
I bought this as a present for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Great value for money
Teresa D.
Fantastic course . Easy to follow and great tuition. Do it in your own time at your own pace. Highly recommend.
Mieke K.
In my busy life I finally managed a 'ME' day to have a go at making the birdfeeder. The online instructions were brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the making kept me nice and warm too. I haven't hung it outside as some bird might poop on it and I'm not ready for that to happen yet and also my chickens would very much not be impressed if I start feeding tasties to birds where they themselves can't get to ;-)
Nigel S.
Great kit with informative tuition.
Janet R.
Haven’t made this up yet but I have to say it has come packed well and instructions seem easy to follow. Really looking forward to make this item and to use it. An easy company to deal with and I can say reasonable prices.
Sue H.
I haven’t made it yet, it’s lovely quality willow, so should be good to work with.
jeanette A.
I love the idea of this. It is a christmas present so course and kit not yet completed. Am sure it will be enjoyable!
Helen L.
I bought this as a gift for my friend’s 60th birthday. She was rather surprised but thought it a fabulous gift that she will complete over the winter season.
